Gul Abdali, LMSW
I’m Gul Abdali, a licensed social worker and clinical therapist. I have worked with young adults and adults in various clinical settings including residential treatments centers, outpatient care and university counseling. I have experience working with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, substance use disorders, postpartum mental health issues. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities when working with clients such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing. I strive to provide compassionate and personalized care for all my clients.

My background as a combat veteran, business executive, and high school teacher helps me connect with a broad range of clients. I use an integrated, evidence-based approach to help you build practical tools and strategies to meet your needs. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples, and I’m currently accepting new clients in my Amarillo office and through secure virtual sessions.
